I'm waiting for my aquarium to arrive so I decided to have it soaked/filled with water in an old 5 gallon tank that I don't use. I ordered a set of 6 and 3, so everything together. They are very clean and I don't even think they need pre-treatment! At the moment they are not particularly positioned, I just threw them in the aquarium along with some LULAND artificial grass tiles that I want to try (also not positioned). Super happy with this hook! More than I expected considering the tank it is rated for is just over 2.6 gallons (Marina 360). Very beautiful and interesting shapes. I just threw them in the aquarium so others could feel the size and impact. This isn't the final design, but it gives you an idea. These are great sizes for 10- to 20-gallon tanks, although the extra would make the 20-gallon tanks more interesting. Bought for my 5 gallon battle tank. I was hesitant to order it without seeing the eyes but decided it wasn't too much of a risk for the price. I'm so glad I did. I bought this to add to 3 different betta tanks. All water parameters are relatively the same with filter and heater and light. As it is a 3 piece set I thought it was perfect. When I looked at the reviews, most people said they didn't need to soak it before putting it in the tank, so I wasn't worried.
