Great rock. suitable for aquarium decoration

I just bought two boxes of this stone for my new 125 gallon saltwater aquarium and I love the look of it. I've always bought live rock for its beneficial aspects, but lately my live rock purchases have been accompanied by unwanted hitchhikers, which gets annoying after a while. Live rock can also be a challenge to place in the aquarium without tipping over. This rock fits together like jigsaw puzzle pieces and I feel like I don't have to worry as much about my hippo's tail getting crushed by falling rocks as it likes to nestle between crevices (I don't like living rocks sticking together because I move them too much because of the coral). Most of the time I got pretty big parts (broadly I would say the size of a soccer ball) but for me it wasn't a problem as I have a big tank. You can also cut the stone with a handsaw if you like. I started scraping the rock before putting it in the tank but all that's left on the rock is sand so obviously it will settle after a while. If you're adding this to an already established tank it will take me a while to get rid of that extra sand so your tank won't be cloudy for hours. Two stones broke, but to be honest they didn't damage anything; I put the larger part on the sand bed and used the smaller part for styling. I even had small pieces at the bottom of the box which made me happy because I can glue corals on it in the future.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
