I needed a new test lamp for a long time and got this to replace my old light bulb. I've seen and used high end models and been impressed with their capabilities but couldn't justify paying triple the price of this device. Luckily I found this tester and was happy with its performance. This car test light is great in many ways and makes diagnosis much easier. There are green and red LEDs to tell you if you are in the correct polarity. The digital display shows the voltage flowing through the circuit under test. The tester has a very thin tip for easy access to hard-to-reach contacts. Finally, a rubber cap is attached to the ground wire to prevent injury or damage - a nice addition as the tester's tip is quite sharp. to help you quickly diagnose many problems and allow you to move to another job more efficiently.
