I mistakenly thought that the kit included an LED bulb s) based on searching for other similar products in the same price range. It's nothing more than a standard sized incandescent bulb. Even when using a very small LED bulb, the lampshade doesn't even cover the bulb! Since it sticks out, you have a bright gleam in your eyes! Then, without a shadow to focus the light, it doesn't brighten up the closet I was hoping to use it in, very dark shadows. The cable is also quite short, about 30 inches long. It contains a switch. The clamp feels solid, but it feels like you want to place it in the right direction rather than keep twisting to adjust. This seems about double the price I would expect for the quality/size.
