Heat this thing can cook/cook quickly in a pot or pan. Better than most electric stoves. Security. While the center heats up quickly, the outside of the burner is cool, everything stays cool except the center of the burner area. The woman was amazed. It has a fan that should only be there to keep it cool and safe. Stainless steel and no gaps to clean. Flat top, smooth sides and rustproof material that is easy to clean. We bought two units and I recommend them and will buy more if I ever need them.
