Review on ANCEL AD410 OBD2 Scanner Enhanced Vehicle Diagnostic Scan Tool with I/M Emission Analyzer - Black-Red by Jontrell Fernandes

My device does not read the code when the check engine light is on. The upgrade instructions that came with the product are inadequate, but the upgrade was still pretty easy. Find their website and download the only file suggested. See the readme file for instructions. About not reading the code: The update did not help. I was not able to get a response from customer support through their website, but they responded to this review very quickly. I have sent them additional information on both locations and am awaiting their reply. Update: I waited 48 hours and did not respond to the messages I posted on their website and I did not further respond to the information requested and I provided their response to this review. I now suspect that the quick response I received to this review came from a bot. I really need a scanner so I'm returning this one and paying a little more for another one. Generally give good reviews on this product. I think I received a defective device. I'm leaving my one star rating to reflect that some of them don't work from time to time.
