Small O-ring fits Water Pump

Make sure the small O-ring is installed on the heater core return line (place in the groove in the top hole of the pump). I thought it was an extra O-ring for one of the hoses. Found it out the hard way. Also, you don't have to remove the crank pulley. If you are installing on a 6, the AC belt will be installed with a snug fit and reinstalling can be problematic. So use a small open end wrench and some patience when loosening the bottom bolt and you should be able to flip the old pump over. Put the screw in before installing the new one, as you won't be able to do this once installed. This screw is optional. Apply some lubricant (Vaseline or silicone grease - SPA grease) to the hoses you are reattaching. I had to replace a few hoses as the plastic seals became brittle after removing them. So something to consider if you've never changed hoses before. save yourself headaches in the future.
