Review on πŸ₯› Vekonn Glass Pitcher with Lid: 68 oz Heat Resistant Borosilicate Carafe with Spout, Brush, and Mixing Spoon by Frank Tyrance

Sturdy and wide mouth

I've had several jugs and milk bottles in the past and one of the problems I've always had was cleaning the inside. The reason I bought this was so you can see in one of the photos someone has their hands in the jug while cleaning it. I can barely put my hand in a dry one (easier when it's wet, which will be the case with brushing), which is perfect. Also included is a two-piece durable sponge brush if you have large hands. The opening is wide enough for medium or small hands. It's priced right for ordinary glass, but it's made of borosilicate glass, which is stronger and more impact resistant than ordinary glass. Paradoxically, although the jug is thinner and lighter than a traditional glass jar, it is stronger. Because this type of glass has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, you can heat and cool it like Pyrex and it has a better chance of surviving. Anyway, I love this pitcher, perfect for lemonade or whatever. I will use it to store plant-based milk that I make from powder. It's just the right size (68 ounces) for a few days of plant-based milk for my family. Last but not least, a well-designed stainless steel attachment with a large pouring hole on one side and an air inlet (when pouring) on the other for smooth pouring. Overall you won't be dissatisfied with the build quality of the jug and top, and the sponge brush is a nice addition. Being able to (barely) stick your hand down the neck of a jug is a big win! In summary: thinner, lighter, stronger, fits in a medium sized hand for cleaning, the top is well designed, the sponge brush is an added bonus. At this price you could buy two and still feel good! I only needed one so $20 was well spent.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
