Decent quality at a reasonable price

I needed 76 pairs of fittings so I bought eight packs of 10 each. Everything worked as expected, although some 1/4" eyebolts were difficult to get into the 1/8" pilot holes due to insufficient thread depth at the tip. Hardware is solid and looks good. Time will tell if they are corrosion resistant. I broke the cast metal neck of my first $30 10 ton press on the second fitting and ended up replacing it with a very powerful $300 16 ton tool from Luxline. You get what you pay for. The heavier crimp was a pleasure to use compared to the cheap. My only real criticism of the fittings is that they come assembled with the pin and clip. Removing the wire clamps on the 152 connectors was a headache, only to have to put them back together after installing the cables. It was very tedious and somewhat precarious work, with small wire staples sometimes flying off in random directions and mostly deformed. It wasn't always possible to spot them on freshly fallen snow. Luckily I had enough extras to finish the job without having to develop a backup plan. Next time I'll find simpler clips and reject the ones that come from the manufacturer.
