cable worked great. This molded connector was soldered to the wired portion of the cable. All wires are copper and the correct size. The eight foot length was just right for my trailer and truck. Could probably have cut off a leg but didn't. Be sure to secure the cable to the trailer to avoid straining the cables coming from the trailer. Lubricate all bare copper wires with grease before inserting them into the crimp terminals. Use heat shrink tubing over the connectors and shrink them with a heat gun. This helps corrosion break the connection. I also smeared some lube on the end of the connector where it connects to the truck. When unhitching a trailer, point the end of the plug down to prevent ingress of rain or debris.
