In general, this is an economical product. I tried different chargers. All have the same problems: -Failed to charge; Charging too long - Intermittent use of the contacts on the bottom of the charger - The LED light is too bright The charger design is different, the charging connection is the same as the PS4 connection, and the connection is more solid and reliable (comes with a Micro-USB charging cable.) Its physical design is tilted, which makes it look like a shelf and also allows me to constrain the controller. (That's why I don't like charging with a charging cable). Now I can charge the controller no matter the PS4 is on or off. Some people are concerned that fast charging may damage the controller's battery. I have found that the performance of this charger is identical to the charging performance of the PS4. I have nothing to fear at all. (Maybe the charger's improved copper chip improves the charging speed, which needs to be checked in comparison)
