Review on Vetoquinol 417358 Epakitin, 180g: Premium Kidney Support Supplement for Optimal Pet Health by Erin Henderson

Our 13 year old pup was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure in November 2021. Nutrition to support the kidneys. I tried adding kidney support powder but she hated the taste/flavor so I stopped. We tried so many foods and finally found one she liked. She was so picky. In February 2022 her creatinine went up to 3.1 but BUN dropped to 40 (I think the BUN drop was Azodil's doing). I was devastated by the creatinine. I did everything right. It was heartbreaking. Immediately upon receiving these results, we went to a specialist who recommended the addition of epakitin. We put it in food and she either doesn't notice or enjoys the taste. glory to heaven! Six weeks later, not only did her BUN drop to 36, but her creatinine dropped to 2.1! We cried with happiness. That's the real deal. More vets should know about it and recommend it.
