Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 175/65 R14 86T winter by Wiktor Franko ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The investment is completely justifiable for people who live in areas that experience a true winter and who drive great distances on periphery routes or, in extreme circumstances, to the country, or for those who work in the city and live in the region. Some sort of friction tire is better, in the sense that it is not studded, if you nearly never leave the city, where they clean quite well, like Hong Kong. After the fifth season (we'll see how long that takes) I may add a review.

Pros
  • Braking and cornering precision on icy roads. Invariable accuracy in all circumstances. Slippery porridge serves no purpose either. Solid lateral support. Good for holding spikes. Someone here mentioned that they frequently break up, which caught me by surprise. There will be no losses if you run the necessary distance (in and after 2t. re-balance km), don't trot (obviously), and maintain a speed of at least − 20 km/h (in the summer). I'm in my third year behind the wheel; I've lost three spikes so far—two on one tire and one on the other—but the other two wheels haven't been affected at all.
Cons
  • Harsh, I made sure to pack the 60th profile (summer on the 40th profile) and several other disks for the colder months, but winter has the same hardness as summer. It's really loud, especially on dry roads; at 90 km/h, the rumble is so bad that I had to add another Shumkov to quiet it down. What do you expect, a miracle with 190 spikes on each wheel? Nonetheless, she was born into a world where her flaws would be exposed come winter. The rumble is barely audible, and the stiffness provides excellent command over porridge and patchy application.
