It has helped us keep up with our jobsite activities in real time so we can see where work needs attention before it becomes an issue for safety or productivity issues at any point of project life cycle! I have no dislike about this software as such but more due its ease-of use which requires little training from IT department personnel when implemented correctly - not least by hiring proper consultants who know what they are doing rather than just throwing out random people off websites like "mainplan" etc..
Our organization uses main plan mainly because there was nothing else available locally nor did anyone recommend anything specific other then 'it should be good'. We used their demo version first without paying them much mind after trying some others around town including Trimble Scout Pro plus few free versions offered online. However once installed properly using correct configuration files setup along side appropriate database tables setup, one does.
