Installed the 45 degree swivel fittings on the gearbox and tightened them very tight because I'm not sure if they blow oil all over the place or not because they can wiggle pretty well. I don't understand why they can do that when they are on my heels. If that's why I mess up a $4,800 drivetrain for my race car, that stuff sucks. Fittings and Russell line have to be purchased instead so I know what to worry about. Update: Just like I originally thought these 45Β° swivel fittings were leaking. I had to pull the gearbox out of the car three times because the clearance between the gauges and the side of the gearbox tunnel was tight. I bent the wrenches to take them off and put them back on. Somehow my transmission oil leaked through the seals they use to keep them turning. Most fittings rotate until you tighten them and they won't lock, but they won't, they can rock back and forth when fully tightened. I tried to get them to work, cut the line and added spare wildlings from other fittings I wasn't using and he tightened them so tight they couldn't be tightened anymore. I tried, like I said thrice, I wasted that transfer for a whole day and a half, but now I've gone old school and got old style braided stainless steel cable with quality fittings and I never have to worry about it take care again. I should never have taken this junk, wasted so much time.
