Abandoned this filter in favor of Aquael Turbo 500 Pros below: Easy to clean, modular, silent. The sponge cartridge can be removed without affecting the filter itself, dirt does not get back into the aquarium. Cons below: The amount of filter material is too small (2 coarsely porous sponges 9x4x2.5 cm), it is necessary to clean it quite often. Aeration works with difficulty, for this the filter must be raised to the water level, or air must be supplied by a compressor.
