Preferences: compact, easy to use, heats up quickly, has a stand. What I don't like: Small water tank (1/2 cup), fixed temperature 392 degrees, short power cord. I mainly use this when I'm traveling and need to remove wrinkles from backgrounds - sometimes I set multiple backgrounds for people and they always get wrinkles. This works very well - one tank is usually enough for two backgrounds (5 x 7 feet) or less. But it fills up quickly and there's no time to warm up. As an iron, it's a bit inconvenient - you have to use it with your grip outstretched, otherwise the pointed tip is pointing backwards. Like a steamer, it's ok.
