A few years ago I bought this version from Costco that was red double boxed (with a smaller non-retractable scraper) and I need one for a new machine. This was the closest I could find now that Costco no longer sells red. I kick myself, I should have bought 2 more of these! It's ok, but clearly not built as "heavy-duty" as my red. Not to mention it was $3 cheaper too! Pros: - locking rotating head design - push button switch, lockable position for extension - foam handle - scraper on end Cons: - scraper feels cheaper, more plastic than a really sturdy one - foam handle is many times cheaper. My red never seemed like a finer grade of metal for a pole - I think I heard the plastic bushing creak where the two poles meet after pushing about 6 inches of snow onto a car - bristles are smaller than red - thinner plastic for the base of the head Bersh as a red jumpsuit, would I buy it again? controversial. I'm still looking for the red one, which was the holy grail of snow brushes. Compared to many others, this is still better than the average option compared to those that look like a window washer rod. These stink! Honestly, I don't think it obviously lasts as long as the other version. But I will update for now. So far 1 decent amount of snow has fallen.
