I crochet, I have two small children (4 and 1 years old). My original reason for this purchase was to get rid of scissors from my crochet supplies so my kids wouldn't find them and hurt themselves. But after a few days of use I will never use scissors again. I hang it on a chain and wear it around my neck when I crochet. I find this particularly useful when sewing all the ends of a nearly finished piece together. I'm just finishing my first granny square and sewing afghan and switching to scissors every few seconds is very tiring. I have found that using this yarn cutting pendant instead of scissors saves time and energy. All razors are very sharp and cut the yarn perfectly without leaving any fluff. And the gap isn't even big enough to slip my acrylic nails in. My daughter snatched it from my neck out of curiosity; I was very nervous but I had her examine it to see how big her fingers were compared to the holes. She couldn't cut herself. But I probably won't leave him with my knitwear - just in case. But I wore it around my neck, actually I just kept it by my bed, not in my knitwear anyway, which is best for me and my parental anxiety. However. I will probably repeat this purchase as I will never go back to scissors. (Also, I've heard the ladies in my crochet group mention that if you want to crochet in the air, they'll let you on planes.)
