I love using red heart yarn for crocheting, not necessarily for knitting, it has a stiffness that works well for things like teddy bears! Wash to soften!

I liked the color and quality of this yarn. The problem was how the 2 strands were wound up. Both ends were tied together, making it difficult to crochet. Hours spent unraveling. Otherwise a great purchase.

This yarn is attractive and works well but I have encountered a few large tangles that were difficult to untangle and even a real knot in the yarn . . In the end I gave up on him because working with him is not reassuring but disappointing :(

Love the texture, quality and color variety of ALL red heart yarns. I've been using this brand for over 30 years. All my craft projects have continued because of the superior quality of Red Heart Yarn. All the colors and color combinations you can imagine. I will continue to use red yarn with a heart.

This yarn is good for beginners or people who are short on money but want to crochet for therapeutic purposes. For me personally it's very scratchy and I can't stand it for too long before I need to put it on (which may be because I've started using higher quality thread though). As said, this is great for beginners, but also very good for much larger projects where you just don't have the money to spend a few skeins of expensive yarn.
