Bought this cheap Tuntrol gauge. Upon delivery, I noticed that the packaging clearly stated that the meter was "factory tested prior to shipment to ensure the highest quality". What a big load of BS. Installed the meter, poured 2 gallons of gas, fuel started dripping from the back of the meter. I noticed that the gauge has 2 very small cracks on the back of the case so obviously it hasn't been tested as stated on the packaging. I then decided that I would just send this one back and buy/order another because of course it has to be a good counter like the Amazon reviews say. The 2nd meter arrived and I went to all the trouble of removing the 1st meter of leaking fuel scrap and making a nice mess only to find out that the 2nd meter isn't leaking, it's 0.6 gallons per actual pumped gallon registered! By the way, there are basically no instructions that provide information on how to install or troubleshoot, calibrate, etc. I slowly turned the "adjustment" screw all the way in and all the way out with very little change in calibration or troubleshooting. Just so you know, if you need any kind of product support from whoever actually makes this fuel meter, you WILL NOT get it. No phone number, no email, no address. I even went through Amazon for product support and guess what. I didn't get an answer. Oh joy! So, 2 cheap junk counters are back. I ordered and installed a US made "Fuel-Rite" meter. Do yourself a huge favor, save yourself some frustration and frustration, just spend the extra money and buy a Fuel-Rite meter sold and backed by an American company. It's always better to support your US colleagues, companies/individuals!
