I hooked it up to my Death Ray and it worked the first time and every time. I received it to let me know when the death ray was ignited in my sterilization chamber as you cannot look into UV lamps without damaging your eyes. I installed a light on the camera right where my face was when I was about to shoot the door. Many times this has saved me from exposure to the death ray. I reach for the doorknobs and suddenly a yellow light flashes in my face, I stop, step back and grab the remote to kill the death ray. Later I added other lights (2 strobe lights, black light and colored "disco" light). While interesting, this simple little light really grabs my attention and gets the job done.
