UPDATE: The molten cauldron has been replaced after we posted a comment asking for more information. We will investigate and are impressed with the customer service. We're still deducting a star because it was pretty scary when it started smoking on the stove, but hopefully with this particular pan it was just an accident. As mentioned all other pans work well and we are very happy with them! We've only had this set for about 3 weeks. Looks great, cleans well, cooks great on our new induction hob. But today we boiled water and the connecting material between the bottom of the pot and the body of the pot seems to have melted. We weren't particularly careful with the utensils and after reading the materials that came with the product I don't think we mishandled them. This is not seen on any of the other pots or pans - maybe this part is defective? Unfortunately, Revain does not seem to accept returns for defective products of this nature.
