The product did not meet expectations. During installation I bent the shaft and it just fell apart. The material connecting the latch to the internal locking mechanism is a very thin and fragile plastic. I don't think they can safely secure an external RV access panel. If I had successfully installed the latch, I would most likely have lost the irreplaceable access panel somewhere along the way. You must be stronger!
