Correct Gasket for 2004 Forester
It was the correct gasket, I put it on and the oil leak at the bottom of the Subaru oil filter was gone. Used a 24mm deep Tekton 14262 socket, mirror and SE 10253HS pick set to remove the old gasket. The oil cooler drops just far enough that you don't have to disconnect the coolant lines. Thanks to the guy on one of the Subaru forums for that info. Many said that you need to drain the coolant. This is totally unnecessary and the Subaru dealership charged "up to" $400 to replace this gasket.
