The first chair I received did not have armrests. I was able to get a replacement chair easily from Amazon. I don't really like this chair. The whole seat is one piece of fabric. If you need to be perfectly in the seat, that's fine and provides good support. But relaxing on it is not so good. The edge of the seat doesn't have much support, so if you sit closer to the front of the seat it's not as comfortable or supportive. I do not recommend for those who fit other than perfectly.
