Remember that sharpening takes a lot of time, patience and practice. This kit is easy to use but be sure to read up on how to do it right or you could end up wasting a lot of time with very little practical results. An extra leveling block is helpful but I don't think the blade support is perfect as it gives a different bevel angle on each knife depending on the blade width. As I primarily use this stone for woodworking tools, this isn't a huge issue, but be aware that there are probably better angled knife guides out there than the ones that come with this one. One final warning: water stones like this one are pretty soft in design. This requires care not to chip the sections when sharpening the bits in the forward direction. Don't ask me how I found out.
