Yes, this CD player is expensive. But understand, it does NOT match its description. Disadvantages: 1.) The charging cable sucks. You need to buy a replacement. This cord does not stay in the connector and is only about 15 inches long. At least mine. serious and continuous buzz. However, I don't hear that annoying hum when listening through the built-in speaker; So I only hear through the speaker. Neutral: 1.) Wired headphones are fine, but I use my Apples instead. 2.) The attached belt is unusable. Pros: 1.) Comes with a felt pouch for storage. It's nice to have when using it in the car. 2.) It comes in a well designed box but my corner was damaged. I thought no big deal. The content was such that I redesigned the box before I found the issues above. (Lesson learned, btw.) If I still had the box I would trade this player for another to make sure the scammer issues don't go away. But I can not. So I'm stuck, but I can update you on the issues with this expensive CD player. If you're just listening to books through the speaker the sound is good, not great, which is what I'd like for music.
