You can't use a 7/8 wrench to tighten a nut that's too big
Today I received a package of plugs and ran into a huge problem - while the threads fit the water heater hole, the plug head wasn't 7/8. that's the way it should be (product description). Clearly a quality control issue. This is a real problem because the 7/8 wrench was too small and the 1 inch wrench was too big? How should I tighten the connector? When I use tongs, they chew on the head. Sending it back, hope they fix the problem.
