Overheating - don't worry
This thing is garbage. He feels hot. From day one, the ethernet was randomly disconnected. Nothing compares to a Zoom call suddenly ending due to an internet loss. It overheats especially when you use the power on feature, so I use it without power instead (which defeats the purpose of a hub like this). A week later and now the display port is behaving strangely. I have to unplug it, let it cool down and plug it back in 10 minutes later. I should have bought something else. I give it two stars because at least it works well as a USB 3.0 hub. Although to be honest I can get one of these for around $10.
