Somewhat cheap; a little lazy; a little too busy. For almost a year I put off replacing the old, completely useless hydraulic valve lifters on my Leer pickup topper. You know, those fancy little struts that hold the liftgate window up when you're trying to load and unload your truck bed. Mine were maybe 15 years old and had lost their holding power. I used a stick (yes, I'll admit it) with a sponge taped on the end to hold the crazy thing in place. Finally decided to buy these MaxPow devices. The old ones had a serial/part number that matched this one. Received, dressed in 2-3 minutes. Really easy, no tools required and they work better than the original ones that came with the topper. Isn't that super smart? Finally!
