When I received these icicle lights, it took me two hours to untangle the strands from the length of lighting wire. First neg. Once that was accomplished and I took them up to my gable , I had to shorten the strands near the ends as the gables come down toward the roof and the icicles are mostly two or three different lengths, better for a straight or flat roof, but not for a gable. The most frustrating thing however is that each time power is removed, the setting choice (there are 8 settings) reset to the default "Sales Display" setting which cycles through each of the settings continuously! Since these lights are on my roof and on a photo cell, each night I have to climb my ladder to reset the desired setting for these icicles. Not enjoyable! On a final note, I get some significant winds here from time to time and when they blow, the icicles end up On Top of my gable, not hanging down from it, but that can likely be fixed by adding some lead fishing weights to the ends of the icicles. Just a 3 star for now, they do look pretty.
