Review on ๐Ÿšค Tree Leds Boat Navigation Lights: Illuminating your Watercraft with Marine Led Strip Lights for Bow and Stern" by Robert Blair

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The wire is too thin!

The wire is too thin! There are 6 or 7 hair-like wires twisted together. If the insulation is stripped, the wire will break. The hardest part was connecting the light on the boat. Manufactured boat wire was twice the diameter of light wire. Make the wire thicker in diameter and then the light will be 100%. Without the thin wire, I would rate the product 10 out of 10; but due to the difficulty of stripping the insulation without tearing it into small pieces, I would rate it a 6 out of 10. The wire from the lantern is 6 inches long when I found out I have to use a razor to cut the insulation to expose the wire I destroyed about 3 inches of the conduit. Also, when using the wire connector, the wire was so thin that when you crimped the metal strips in the connector, they cut the wire and it fell off. . . . Finally used the shrink tube connector and it worked. . . it shouldn't have been that hard. . . .

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
