I needed a solar panel to charge my Land Cruiser's batteries for many days of hiking and off-roading and to keep the fridge running. I thought it was worth it, all in one solution. Well the first time I tried it the alternator on my truck died and I had groceries in the fridge for 8 days waiting to go bad while waiting for parts to arrive. BUT WAIT, I HAD A NEW SOLAR PANEL! I connected it to the battery and it turned on the fridge and kept the battery charged for hours! We then spent 8 days at the Rubicon in Northern California. My truck was the only one that didn't have battery issues. It fully justified its price and I am very satisfied with the performance of the panel. It's a simple controller and I wish it was a bit more complex, but it works. I am happy with my purchase!
