I won't know how the panel performs when it comes to keeping my feeder's battery charged for a while. However, I can't see why alligator clips are already attached to the wires, which are clearly (and properly) encased in a flexible metal tube designed to run through the feeder's wall and fastened both inside and out . Wall. The alligator clips will need to be cut off and reattached with wire nuts (or other connecting device - not supplied) after threading the wires through the walls of the feeder/bin.
