very disappointed

I am a professional bookbinder and was very impressed with this paper cutter. After using it for a few days, here is my opinion: - The maximum cut of a 70 lb paper is 14-15 pages with no chewing or torn edges. Still, I have to use a very sharp knife for a clean edge. - Very heavy, which makes it awkward to use. - Poor security design. Mine opens when you look at it and doesn't work well. I really have to keep an eye on consumption. Bad cut. Handles cut less than half an inch TERRIBLE. Really bad. - No sliding measuring ruler for precise cuts at all times. I really noticed right away when I found out that 20 sheets are not cut at the same time. Without them, it's difficult to get perfect cuts, which is crucial for cutting pages. not worth what i paid for and i don't recommend it. I put it in the closet and use my Martha Stewart paper cutter for most things instead. It's far from the quality, but it works much better and is better designed.

  • paper cutter and blades
Cons
