Connected to motherboard (X470/Ryzen 2700X) USB-C port, all 4 USB-A ports tested at 459.1MB /s read and 453.1 MB/s write with a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB installed in a Vantec NexStar USB 3.1 Gen 2 external enclosure (NST-270A31-BK). It's FAST that the drive plugs directly into the SATA III connector and into the actual transfer. I moved the 45GB folder with 4K and 1080P movies that was on the drive to a 1TB NVMe boot drive on the motherboard. It transmits at 405MB/s for the entire transfer, with no buffering. Only the direct raw rate for the entire broadcast. Amazing little center here!
