I've been making candles for friends and family for a number of years now. After trying different types, I came to the conclusion that hemp wicks work the best. You burn slower and smoke less. These hemp wicks are the perfect length for most candle sizes and can be trimmed for shorter candles. I didn't buy this set because of the sticky sticks and centering tool but they are very useful additions which along with the free e-books will improve my candle making.
