Review on πŸ”Š Blaupunkt 6.5-Inch 360W 4-Way Coaxial Car Audio Speaker Set for Optimal Sound Performance by Brian Tompkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfect factory retrofit for older cars

I installed these on my 2007 Hyundai Accent to replace the falling apart factory speakers. They are used in conjunction with a Sony aftermarket DVD stereo system. With slight EQ and crossover adjustments, they produce a nice clean sound even at fairly high volumes. The tweeter isn't as robust as the woofer and is the first to distort between the two, again at fairly high volumes. I have had speakers from Pioneer, Alpine, JVC, JBL and many more. They all had their ups and downs. I would rate this set as over the curve regardless of the low price point. In terms of value for money they are on par with the best of the ones I've had. I really wish Blaupunkt advertised them as two-sided, but that's the way it goes with budget audio these days. However, be realistic with what a sub-$25 speaker kit can do and you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
