I've had a BGE for a long time and my BGE brand ash remover finally broke. I needed another one and wanted to save some money so I bought this one. Whoever came up with the idea that this was a product made out of two matching parts should be fired! Apparently this tool is also used to stir old coals to remove ash and to stir the coals after they start to heat up. Well, because a genius decided to screw the two pieces together, every time you stir the coals the screw comes loose and you have to screw it back in. Well after only 4 months of use the screw has snapped off leaving the tool in two pieces and unusable. . I should have paid a little more and bought a better product. Don't make the same mistake and don't buy this junk if they don't quite make it. I really think they did a good job of getting the best out of the instrument, but two sections are silly.
