Review on 🐠 OASE Biomaster Thermo Indoor Aquatics by Amber Allen

I've never been able to get water completely clear with other filters. About two hours after plugging this filter in, my water became CRYSTAL clear, I'll say it looks like a fish swimming in the air, clear. I'm actually a bit amazed. Just ordered another one for my other aquarium and will probably get the smallest one for my nano. A few tips, watch the video on YouTube to set it up. I didn't really use the instructions (I'm a visual person) but I saw in other reviews people said it was rubbish and difficult to set up. After watching a video of someone setting it up, it literally took me about 5 minutes to fully set it up and get it up and running. I didn't use the filter media that came with the kit, I just took out the second filter media that came with it and replaced it with a Seachem matrix and Purigen, then added a couple of old bags of filter media from another tank to keep my bacteria comfortable and are ready to multiply. I've been using it for about a month now and haven't had any flow issues or it looks like it needs cleaning. I'll probably open it up and wash the dirt off the pads in the next few days, but I'm not sure it really "needs" that. I will say that it squirted a little when first plugged in as the air bubbles (I assume?) came out on their own, but after the first day it was quiet. To be honest, one of its biggest selling points is the fact that I can't even hear it. I will never use any other filter again.
