Review on Pack Brackets Bracket Industrial Supports by Bill Lacy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

TOO HEAVY for where they need to go.

I don't think I expected them to weigh that much. They would be fine but you have to walk along the window frame which just doesn't provide the support needed for so much weight. So I will continue to use it elsewhere in the house but not where I planned it. I bought a smaller shelf bracket because I knew I needed a smaller profile and a shelf in the corner. They just don't work there. But overall the mounts are good and solid and will no doubt work well elsewhere, you just have to find out where they will be. (I'm thinking of a sewing room, and instead of a board at the top separated by two staples, I'll make a piece of wood cut in half to hold the fabric in a long roll. Sort of like staples that flex flexing so the fabric can conform to the curved cutout at the top of these brackets. I could make a board for the shelves and set up stoppers along the way, but I prefer a cradle to hold the rolled up fabric and it's easier too stop when hung high on the wall. Not sure if they want that, but this is a place strong enough to use those hefty brackets.

Pros
