Based on some reviews I didn't want to buy the device. However, I was ready and took my time to study the circuit before I started figuring it out. Once I figured it out, it was a piece of cake. The instructions could be a bit clearer, but everything is really included. Please excuse the wrong color in one of the pictures, the green background image shows the correct pen color, the pen color is totally different from the blue background image. So here's what I did: 1. I pulled the cover off by inserting a small screwdriver into the slot between the outer cover and the inner bushing. It was tight especially for the inside door handle, but I got it off in about 3 minutes. This is designed in such a way that the outer cover hides the set screws and gives the door knob a very polished modern look.2. I then used an allen wrench to loosen a small screw on the side of the doorknob so I could change the orientation of the handle. It is also necessary to screw in the internal bushing. 1 minute.3. Since I needed to change the orientation of the handle, I repeated this process on the outer handle as well. This cap came off in about 30 seconds by inverting the handle in about 2 minutes.4. Then I installed the latch with screws, put in the outside handle and used a laser level to make sure the handle was level (it bothered me to the end of time if it wasn't level). Another 3 minutes or so.5. I then installed the inner bushing by screwing it to the outer handle with the screws provided. At this point I made sure to check the lock by pressing down on the lock and making sure it was locked properly. 3 minutes left.6. I then reinstalled the inside handle with a small screw and the included Allen wrench. 1 minute. The end result: a beautiful, modern grip that installs in less than 15 minutes. I love it!
