I had one of those ladders that came with a cage when the owner of my blue Quaker gave me a cage and bird 4 years ago. I do not know how. but the first two steps just chewed. I think my Quaker was upset. So I bought these to replace the damaged one. This one seems a lot stronger than the one I had before. Those are great stairs. My bird uses it all the time. I definitely recommend having these for your birds. My cage isn't high enough to hold them at different levels. but if I had a big cage. this is very helpful as your bird can safely maneuver around the tall cage; especially in gray parrots. They are very prone to falling from high cages and injuring themselves.
