Bounced and lost on first ride

Didn't even last 24 hours. Lost on the first ride. Installed it immediately and snapped it up but found it had somehow bounced off and gotten lost somewhere along the rocky 20 mile trail. Maybe my clip was just bad, idk. Starting at $35 and a few extra tools I added. Disappointed because it seemed well done and I was very happy about it.
