I have never tried this brand before. always bought 3M or something similar. I just received this and have been trying it out on metalworking projects. Works perfectly. Hard, tightly bound sand. Durable blades, work even when wet. I've used it to make sharpening rods that require sharp but smooth edges - very impressed. Even though I have some 400 and 600 grit in stock I will be buying more TigerShark. [Just found out, not 600 grit but ordered 400 grit.] Photo shows sharp edges of sharpening rod.
