Let my crying dogs help you with knowledge

Do not use this product to remove tear stains! I have 2 purebred bichons. If you're looking to buy this, I'm sure you've already spent a lot of time looking for people who swear by what works and what doesn't. I can't summarize how much time I've spent over the past 10 years researching tear stains, food, plastic bowls, food choices, etc. to remove the antibiotic in them. Then it was no different from other OTC products. Even if you are careful with this bleach and don't get it in your dog's eyes, it will work but the stains will come back. And you can't put bleach on your dog's eyes for the rest of his life. I bought the same antibiotic that used to be in the Angel Eyes product from Revain. This is soluble Tylan (tylosin tartrate) and my bichon eyes cleared up after a week of taking it. If you buy an antibiotic and spend the money on a cheap scale that measures milligrams, spend less than $50 and the dog tear stains will go away. Once the spots are gone, all you can do is use an antibiotic every few months as long as you take a dry cloth and wipe your dog's eyes once or twice a day to prevent the tears from settling and forming fungus. I'm sure I've spent about two thousand on tear stains over the years. It doesn't matter how much I spent as long as it works. It was frustrating to determine if it worked, maybe a little, to try something different etc etc. This antibiotic lasts forever because you only need to mix about 6 mg per pound with their wet food. A container of about $20 weighs 100 grams. I hope I've helped at least a few people stop doing all those other things that don't work or get bleach next to your dog's eyeball. :-)

Pros
