Accurate lightweight rangefinder with magnifying glass

A Wellray laser rangefinder was ordered to replace an old rangefinder that I use for golfing and hunting. I immediately liked this rangefinder model. boxing It's lightweight, easy to use and has all the features I need for golf and hunting. Firstly, this range finder has 3 modes that can be used and for golfers it includes a "slope" function. The one I use measures distance and effective incline distance. It also measures the distance and angle to the target. I tested this range finder against an older brand range finder. The old model was both dialed in and retired and the distances are correct. Thus, the test was conducted at distances of 60 yards, 100 yards, and 220 yards. As for me, I don't have to use range beyond 220 yards because my golf swing doesn't do carries beyond 220 yards anymore. I found that at 60 yards the difference was 2 yards. It has been tested multiple times and the results have always been the same in different places. At 100 yards there was a difference where the new range finder was 1 yard longer than the old model. And at 220 yards, both models came the same distance. These gauges are accurate enough for me. I checked the tilt function. It seemed to be something accurate. However, I do not rely on Slope and use it for informational purposes only. I've found that on all of these I've owned or tested, the incline function tends to underestimate the actual increase or decrease in yards. Not only was this range finder accurate, it locked onto the target almost instantly. I pressed the button on the rangefinder with the viewfinder on the target and got an instant high. I really like the 7x viewfinder on this model. I've had 4X and 5X viewfinders and it's nothing compared to the 7X. This is a much simpler and bigger type of goal. The focus wheel on the eyepiece was initially very tight and didn't want to move. However, after it started spinning, it settled very quickly and became clearer. The range finder comes with 2 new batteries, one of which is a spare. An additional feature of this rangefinder is that it turns itself off after 8 seconds to save battery, which I like. My old model didn't have that and had to be turned off manually. SUMMARY: This range finder is accurate, lightweight, has 7x magnification, and delivers a quick "buzz" when it locks onto a target. Its price can be several hundred dollars less than the famous brand name models in the golf shop, and it is just as accurate. I definitely like this model and would order again.
