Review on πŸ”Œ CarQiWireless Wireless Charger for Honda Civic 2016-2021: Ultimate Charging Solution for Civic Hatchback Si Coupe Type R Accessories! by Arun Berry

Ideal complement when using AAWireless, but.

As I often use Android Auto in my 17 Series Honda Civic, I initially rejected it. Doesn't make sense as it requires a wired connection and your phone will be charged through that connection. However, I came across AAWireless on Indiegogo and decided to support it. Just got my bonus a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. But since I no longer charge via a cable connection, I also ordered these. It's perfect with one caveat. Good first. It's easy to install, fits great and works as advertised. The caveat is that you need a matching powerful adapter in your cigarette lighter/plug. I recommend anything 36 watts or more. I originally had a 24w adapter in this port to power my dash cam. However, it wasn't powerful enough to power a QI charger. I bought a 36w dual port adapter and it works great. When my phone is running AAWireless and charging on this pad, there is enough charge to fully charge my phone (Samsung S21 Ultra). My only complaint is that the included power cord is too long for my liking. I ordered a shorter cable (about 30 cm long). It was the perfect length to cover the distance. Don't skimp on quality either. Make sure it is a USB 3.1/3.2 fast charging cable. If you are an AAWireless user, you will not regret this purchase.

Pros
  • NON-SLIP SILICONE MAT AND HEAT OUTLET. Unlike other wireless chargers that use only one coil, our wireless charging pad adopts 3-coil design to increase the range of charging efficiency. No blind spot for charging. Comes with a non-slip eco-friendly silicone mat that integrates perfectly with the charger, it can be taken out for cleaning, keeps your phone in place horizontally. Designed with heat dissipation holes on the back for cooling, greatly improving charging efficiency.
