We have recently moved to a new house and I was looking for a lamp for our closet and settled on this one. This light was very easy to install even though it reached up to the sloping ceiling in our bathroom. It comes fully assembled and installation is as easy as any other fixture you will find. We don't currently have a dimmer so I can only give my opinion on the overall brightness which is excellent. The light is clean and perfect for selecting clothes in our closet. This lamp produces an enormous amount of light with almost zero heating. The modern hatched design is cool and different from what you usually see. We really liked this lamp and I can definitely recommend it.
